Log Cabins
Friendship Village also has 4 log cabins available. Made from Amish wood, these cabins disappear into the very hills and trees they are made from. For a truly rustic experience, these cozy cabins are perfect for those who wish to stay longer and even as housing for the staff of your very special events.

Each cabin has 4 bedrooms that can sleep 2 each and one very large common room for an additional 32 beds which, with the Eagle Lodge, allows Friendship Village Retreat and conference center to house 76 guests. The men's and women's bathrooms are located in Eagle Lodge.



Cherokee Joy, Locust Grove, Strawberry Sunrise, and Whispering Ash, the 4 cabins of Friendship Village Retreat and Conference Center are built in the heart of nature, perched on the rolling foothills of the rugged explosion of beauty for which the Ohio Valley is renowned.

Each cabin has wood burning stoves and furnaces to keep you snug and warm in the cooler temperatures.

Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn, enjoy life as it is birthed through each season in the simple living of the cabins of this unique retreat and conference center.

Stay for a weekend, a week, or even a month.

Camping For the more adventurous outdoor lover, campsites overlooking the mountains and valley are available with outdoor showers and toilets.

There are several areas for camping where you can awaken and look out your tent door to watch the sun rise and set over beautifully forested rolling hills and the mist roll in the valleys.

Whether you are here just to relax for a day or in corporate planning meetings for the week, the peaceful beauty of this retreat and conference center will rejuvenate your spirit. Eagle Lodge
Eagle Lodge, perched on the edge of a richly forested ravine, is the main lodging facility of the Friendship Village Retreat and Conference Center. Here, nestled in the hills and forests of Ohio Valley, the stress and strain of daily life melts away in the warmth and comfort of this serenely rustic long house.


Small and Large Groups
The Eagle Lodge houses 44 of the 76 beds available at the Friendship Village Retreat and Conference Center. You may choose either the private Zen rooms with two twin beds, or, sleep in dormitory bunk bed fashion. The fresh, clean, and simple charm of the rooms is accentuated by the respect and courtesy afforded to our guests.

The beautifully appointed guest parlor overlooks the forest through double French doors that open to a spacious, covered deck wrapping 'round the building. As you walk onto the deck you enter into the forest itself. Here the deer stay close, safe in the retreat and conference center. You awaken in the morning with the piercing cry of the golden eagle and drift into sleep with the soft call of the owl. The redolent fragrance of honey suckle permeates the senses and you feel truly at home in this very special place.
